1934 Thompson TVT 16' model
with 1934 Elto Junior Quad 18 H.P.

History:

I purchased the boat in 1980 in Ct.  I kept it stored in a covered barn until 1982.  I began the usual stripping, cleaning, bleeching, sanding and varnishing taking ten years to complete.  The wood was in excellent condition needing only one rail to be replaced.  After eleven coats of varnish and a lot of hand rubbing, it was ready for the water.  We named it Schatze (German for Sweetheat)  Our boat has a tag on the indicating it was made at the Cortland plant in New York.  The 18 horse Elto Junior Quad has also been completely restored.

We take Schatze out every year and have shown it at the Clayton and Hessel Shows.
