Addreas is the resident expert on Thompson boats. I restored a 1960 Cortland boat about six years ago. I think if you sand down or strip the paint off the outside keel you will find 3" to 4" long screws every foot or so that are recessed into the outside keel. Hope this helps

The correct fix would be to replace ribs, garboards, keelson, and keel. Short of doing this will be a compromise. Another compromise would be to add trim tabs, I have seen a lot on older wooden boats. .

I am looking for the windshield gaskets for a 1960 Sea Lancer (Cortland). The gaskets that came with the boat are grey and look like they may have been for an aluminum door; so I do not have a profile to go from does anyone know the number for these gaskets?

The hull (keelson and rib attachment) is not at all like the Grady White. Have not had time to clean out will soon.
