Joe, That bow light is featured in my 1961 Attwood catalog. Since it says "new" I'd guess '61 was the first year for it.

Peter, That's very good advice about the respirator. And thank you again Andreas for guiding me to those nuts on the carriage bolts. Thank God I don't have to remove the entire flooring!!! Or maybe I will remove them. There could be a few good old fishing lures down there  Or at least, I could ...

Sorry you missed it Peter. But on the positive side, nobody needs TWO projects at the same time. I keep an eye on boats like that on ebay and craigslist all the time, just to see what they're bringing. It seems most sellers are looking for $4-6000. but the ones that sell usually all go for less than...

Yes Phil, it does recirculate the inside air. If one would worry about blowing around dust, maybe a filter could be fashioned over the air inlet at the top. If one is doing a lot of sanding or other work that creates dust, I'd recommend it. It would keep the unit cleaner and protect the gas jets in ...

Pete, My unit is a Cozy brand, model # CF357C. 35Kbtu. I'm very happy with it and it's gone through 4 winters so far without one problem. As Brad said, the radiant heat in the floor is the tops for comfort, just way too expensive for me to consider. The only down side to floor heat is it has an extr...

I have a detached brick shop and I installed one of these. They can be found in a Grainger catalog (or web site). It's gas and has an electric igniter rather than a pilot flame. If I'm using paint or chemicals, I can turn it off temporarily until the vapors clear. I'm not a big fan of forced hot air...

Andreas,
Could you provide contact information for Mary Hermanson please? I recently scored the correct burgee pole for my Attwood bow light, so now I need the flag for my '60 Sea Coaster.

thanks
