keelson and transom repair. On Sea Mate!
ok guys I finally got things repaired here. New mahogany transom boards. New spliced in keelson. Used some West System epoxy to repair the garboard.(Nails and some rot damage.) I coated everything in CPES. Then used Boatlife Life-calk with new screws. Followed everyones advise to replace with new wo...

deck vinyl

Here is a picture of a 1965 Thompson inboard. Note the color of transom and trim...It's a light shade... Not red . not dark brown.... It's a light maple color... Jim That looks to be a real nice boat! I think its one of the nicest little Thompson's that has come on Ebay in a long time!! ( I check every Day!) I think it is special in that it was built with all wood interior,Wood deck.etc. And then came with a plexiglasss windsheild...A boat that was made just...

That boat looks Great! What did you use for the copper bottom paint? And can you post a picture showing the Front deck...I m looking to see the vinyl that you have there. Boat Colors!
My parents second boat was a 57 Cruisers inc, 16 ft Seafairer.. It was pink! With a special black shearstrake... When the boat was sold in 1973 the next owner change it to White......

Boat Rally!
I will have 3 boats,a bunch of parts to pass a long to fellow Thompson nuts and a complete T N T windsheild... Pictures,brochures etc. for all to look over. I will send in registration shortly......cheers

The parts are at my place now!
Take a look at these pictures . the measurements are 72" across the bottom/beam. 38" along the bottom of the side window 17" Tall It's a differnt style than what Thompson used on there boats.It also not the same as what Cruisers did in the early 60's... So I looked it up on the Catalo...
