Someone cut this boat down.....

I picked this boat up today. What a prize. Once it was the pride of a Kentucky River. Just a parts boat for me now. http://s207.photobucket.com/albums/bb128/waddlep2000/Project%202011%20Thompson%20Fishingboat/ http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb128/waddlep2000/Project%202011%20Thompson%20Fishingbo...

I will bring a picture to the show of my fathers 58 Cruisers Seafairer. It had this black swoop option. I think that he picked it up from the factory that way.

Get some strong buddy's to come over and pull/strech the rubrail as you attach it.Find the middle of your new stuff and tack this at the bow. Have one guy hold and pull to the portside. You and your ot...

I have owned boats that had individual plastic numbers and letters. Back in the 50's it was also a popular thing to do. Most marina's had these in stock. Each digit was attached with two small nails. Anyone else remember this ? Here is a picture showing a wood board and what looks to be the plastic ...

I like how the hull numbers are placed on this boat. This one of the things that my 80 year old father and I will talk about at a Boat show. Every state may have different rules. This looks good .

Glad that you found a project. You will love the Sea Lancer. Good choice.

I have not seen a Thompson that you said was available in Fond du lac ? Did you?

Garboard Removal.

If a rib at this point is a complete failure. ...
