Update the project continues. I got side tracted with some paint issues (I must have applied the paint when it was too cold or something). In any event I am back on this project hope to flip in a week or two.

My thought is weight, wood is heavier than either aluminum or fiberglass. The other is the shape of the hull wooden boat often have a sharper "V" near the bow. But you have to love the feel and smell of a wooden boat.

Pulled out the seats, pulled up the floor, cleaned out .

Too far gone to salvage...Here is the trailer getting blasted. Few repairs needed before paint. One of the fenders is pretty bad. Does anyone know where I could pick up a replacement?

Trailer is going in to be sand blasted and painted later this week. I will post pictures of the before and after.
