Rusty, He's right, sometimes there is nothing and sometimes there is more than you need. I'd like to find a pendent holder for my bow light. I have on occasion asked if the e-bay owner would "part out" his item. Sometimes yes, sometimes no....Dan

Hey Vern, I just dunked mine a week ago without the side guides and I didn't have much of a problem. It was a shallow ramp so I did get my feet wet pushing it off and reloading. Once on the water and clipping along you will soon forget your a little wet. A little grit is good for the soul! Your idea...

I too agree with Peter, as far as sand blasting is concerned, the more you can take apart yourself the better the cost to you. Since work is slow in commercial construction maybe ask some painting companies if they would do it for you or concrete repair companies. You only have to make sure what typ...

Thanks Bill, that is where I have them currently. It seemed like a logical area. It seemed other non-wood boats have them higher but their spray guards are built in.

Possibly, I'm not sure of the proper nomenclature for these items. It is the rail that runs about two thirds from the transom forward, it is made of wood with a aluminum strip on the side. It is the forth lap down from the trim strip around the boat. I thought these were for helping the boat plan ou...

Transom tie downs

I have on my Tee Nee trailer tie downs that are chain with a knob on top that tightens the tension. They have a rubber coated hook on top that hooks on the top of the transom. Are these healthy for the boat? Or should I get something that goes to the transom bolt connections or strap over stern of b...

Side guide bunks

I am having difficulty deciding where to place my side guides. I have them centered on the wheels but the height is the problem. I have two positions to choose from, one buts me just above the planing fins and the lower setting sets me center to the fins. I'm concerned with the floating on and off. ...

GPS/Depthfinder

Anyone install a Depthfinder on their boat without putting a hole through the deck above dash? I'd like to use it when needed and put it away for that original look. Dan

Thanks Peter, I have never seen that before. I too have to push my boat all the way back in my garage to make it fit, a selling point for me. I will try splitting the trailer first, if it doesn't work, I'll try your method; it not too exspensive. Thanks again...Dan
