Peter^ summed up my experience with a merc just like yours. Needed a water impeller and I blew it up. Sad. I have a merc 900 on my boat now. Great tip on the mercury forums!

Also, sweet boat! Beautiful

Thanks Phil, that does help actually. I have to look at a sea coaster in town tonight and go see another that is located about 1.5 hours away tomorrow. They are popping up like crazy right now.

EDIT: I see your in appleton! One is in Franklin, and the other is here (in Madison).

Differentiation between sea lancer/coaster and coasters inc?

Hey guys, I am now seriously on the hunt for a thompson project for the winter. They are popping up like crazy, but I am having a little trouble deciphering which boats are which size wise. You may remember before that I would like to seat 6. I know the off-shore will handle that, but what about the...

Okay, I agree with you guys that 6 will be a tough fit. Seems maybe thompson just won't work for me at this point. Seating for 4 is not big enough. You guys have any recommendations? I don't intend on operating the boat in 3' of water, but would need to be able to get it (carefully) to an area where...

Thanks a lot for the information, I should go check it out. My fiance' and I are the main users of the boat but we have friends who we would like to take with us.. hence the dilemma. That motor is that valuable? Sounds like it is at least worth going to see. The real problem here is that I think I r...

Is this a reasonable deal?

Curious as to insight on this boat. One concern is the pair of seats. Is it possible to safely seat 6 or so if appropriate seating was installed?

Thanks!
