I will have to check again, but I am quite sure it said Thompson Brothers. I will try to take some additional photos and post. The hull number is stamped in the wood of the transom and also on the plate that says Thompson Bros.

1960 Thompson Deluxe Sea Lancer

Imagecave.com is down I just picked up this boat last week. I believe it is a 18' 1960 Thompson runabout. The first two pictures show the boat as it now exists. The third is a photo of the boat in its prime. The boat comes with all original hardware and no rot. I would like to paint it the original ...

The photos do look like the ones on the grady white web site. I does appear that the windshield has been cut down. There is a cruiser inc windshield for sale on the Syracuse NY craigslist that may fit.

Andreas is there anyway you could send me a copy of the old Grady White brochures?

Pictures would be nice. The later model years offered a canvas type material as an option for the inside of the cabin. The tall bow rail was also an option. The side widow I am not sure but the earlier boats '59 and '60 had a curved side window.

Looking into the hull numbers has cause more confusion than conclusion. I have discovered there is a difference in the 17 1/2 Hatteras deck design. There are different construction methods used where the rear (stern) deck attaches to the transom. It does not seem to be year related, one method seems...

Found a photo taken in 1967 of our old 17' T&T The first owner replaced the front deck. The angle is quite bad it makes the deck look a lot shorter than it was. I do not know the year of the boat. I think the motor was a 1964 or 1965 50 hp Mercury, I think the original owner took off a 1965 or 1...

My unprofessional opinion is that it could be a Grady White Pamlico. Who knows without a picture. The hull numbers starting with the letter "A" indicate Pamlico. The numbers before the "A" could mean almost anything; that particular part number, trim level boat will receive etc. ...

1962 Mercury 500 50 HP lower unit grease lube

Does anyone know the proper lower unit lube I should use? It is getting time to winterize and I would like to drain and re-lube. Here is what I have found out so far. There seems to be a product called Lubriplate that was used originally; however there is confusion in my mind as some sources say thi...
