Boating in MN this time of year?

Post by a j r »

ya, u betcha!

I was boating today!!!! UNREAL...for this time of year. It was close to 70 F which is unheard of. Global warming I guess. Lake Minnetonka west of Minneapolis was wonderful and actually had a fair amount of activity. The navigational buoys are gone so I was cruising by memory and "feel."

The '61 Peshtigo Sea Lancer with her 1961 Johnson 75HP loved to be on the lake!

Oustanding! I'm planning on a launch this Friday now that I have my motor back in shape and running.

Even though it will not be in a Thompson I will be fishing and spending the night out on Lake Champlain this weekend to end my season, it has been a wonderful long warm fall.
