Flying Scott and Chetek Together Again!

Post by vernonfarmer »

It isn't a Thompson but its still a classic woodie. Took the '59 Chetek and its '59 Flying Scott on there re-birth cruise today. They haven't been on the water in 30 years!

The motor runs great with new water pump, seals, head gasket, fuel pump diaphragm and hoses. New stain and 7 coats of varnish on the Chetek. Boat rides and handles like a dream. A good day for an old boat and motor to come back to life.

Wow, Nice boat. It brings back memories for me. I learned to ski as a youth behind that very same motor. Mike
