Congrats of the splashing! It's a great feeling to be out on the water on something you put back together. I see you stained/varnished the upper plank (shearstrake) on your Cruisers, Inc. They typically did not do that at the factory. That was a Thompson Boat signature styling detail. It looks nice in any event.

Thanks Andreas ,

Surely the journey was rewarded by the destination , but is the journey ever over ? heh,heh,heh....no , I don't think so . But isn't that why we do this ? 8)

The shearstrake is natural finish . I've always loved the classic look of gold leaf lettering on a wood finish . Haven't got that far yet though . Still haven't decided on a proper name for her .

Hopefully , this imposter will be allowed to dock along side at the next rally .

I think you are correct, that the journey never ends. Your Seacamper is a 370, right 18.5 ft? She looks great, aren't these the most comfortable boats ever!
I am just finishing my 570, and I don't think there is ever an end .

But havin a great time anyway
