Chris Craft destruction...

Shot this this afternoon, had to share....

This 49 33' Chris Craft had been moved along side an office years ago after the owners kids had blown up the engine. He used it for an office for years, When the buildings were to be demoed for a riverside project he called our club and allowed us to strip it for any usable parts. The hull was in bad shape and would have taken many thousands to restore. I was going to try and get some mahogany but it pretty much exploded.

Too bad they didn't put her in the water, well away from shore, and set her on fire late at night along the lines of a Viking funeral. A much more dignified end.

It's sad, but I can't say that it's the first one I've seen done this way.
Karl.
