Good grief, Cabela's!

This past weekend I had my first opportunity to visit the new Cabela's in Green Bay. They have two Thompson Bros. Duck boats on display, each are displayed in custom-built glass and oak enclosures with identification and a short write up that was etched into the glass. The whole thing was done up very professionally, except the boats were identified as being built by "Thomson" Bros. in Peshtigo, Wis.

Sad.

A few years ago I was at Cabela's in MN and they had wooden row boat (can't recall brand) filled up with fishing lures. That was the bin" they were using.

I stopped at the Cabela's in Green Bay last week. Yupper, they mis-spelled the name. I informed an employee nearby and she radioed a manager. The manager was aware of the spelling error.

The duck boats look very cool.
