Many of you may have encountered my father at the Thompson Boat Rally in past years. He died on Tuesday at the age of 91. In 1951 he started working in Peshtigo across the alley from the Thompson Boat company. His employer was 50% owned by the Thompson family and dad's paycheck was signed by Ray Thompson! There was a very close relationship between the two companies.
