Source in Midwest for Mahogany

Post by John Hart »

I need some mahogany to make a flip up bench seat back for my Seacoaster... Some pieces a full 3/4" and some 5/8"... some 4 5/8" wide, some 3 5/8".

I will prime with CPES and Varnish with Schooner to match my bench seat.

St Croix Valley Hdwds was recommended, but I can't get my calls returned...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a source somewhere around Minnesota. Maybe even a wild guess on price/sq ft. if possible.

Thanks.

Youngblood Lumber in North Minneapolis is the best source around here as far as I know. Maybe Elmo's Lumber and Plywood in Lake Elmo?? At Youngblood tell 'em "wholesale" when they price it.
