Don Danenburg Volume 1 and 2

Post by JALL »

I know there are two volumes but, I see one book out that contains two volumes in one. Does anyone know if these are the same two originals by Don Danenburg? I need step by step restoration guide. THANK YOU

The publisher combined book one and two in a reprint, so yes, they are both contained in one book.

The book concentrates on carvel planked inboard boats. There is some information about lapstrake restoration. It is worth reading in any event.

I read the Dannenburg book, and found it to be a great read. It had me a bit freaked out until I figured out a lot of it didn't apply to lapstrake boats. I still learned a lot though. I read it before I decided to buy a wood boat.
