Is there any set length to where the gunwale rub rail ends on the transom? I can't tell, even with all the pictures that I've looked at. Also, what's the best way to anchor it to the boat?

Rick, I would think it depends on the type of boat because the type of rub rail varies, but here's where it ends on my '60 Sea Coaster (Peshtigo). It's attached with screws. Look at the '59 Sea Skiff on the for sale link and you'll see its rub rail wraps around the back. I think you need to post the year and model that you have.
