rub rail (again!)

Post by Rick »

Thanks for the info on the rub rail. With the help of two friends and two of my brothers, we stretched it on an 80 degree day and it went on without a hitch. An air nail gun really helps!
Now, I need the aluminum insert and I can't seem to find it locally. I've gone on the internet without success, so I could use your help once again. If anyone knows where I can purchase the aluminum insert, please let me know.

Try local metal fabricators. Look for architectural metal work places. You can get the stuff from Taco via West Marine, but I bet you can find it much less costly elsewhere.

I have sources in the Minneapolis area and have purchased for Eagle Aluminum Moldings in Osseo, MN on several occasions.
