MDO replacement

Post by desseks »

I'm replacing the garboard planks on a 1967 Seacoaster. The original planking is MDO plywood.

Boulter's does not have marine-grade MDO. Does anyone know where I can get some, or have a suggestion about what non-MDO marine ply I should use instead?

Not sure if you find any marine plywood with the phenolic bonded paper face. Not sure anyone makes it these days.

Okume or meranti mairne plywood is a suitable material for these boats.
