Need fuel gage

Post by dsherburn »

I have a 1964 Cruisers, Inc 18' Commander with a Mercruiser I/O. I'm removing the fuel tank to have it steam cleaned. It looks like I might need a new fuel gage. It sits on the top of the tank and the "window" is so clouded I'm sure I'll need to replace. The float mechanism seems to work but it's horribly corroded. Is there a source for something like this?

Any good marine supply store should be able to get you one of these units.
Jamestown or West. You can also try your local automotive parts store. My local autot parts store has been able to order many "boat" parts for me.
