filling & fairing

Postby gaff » Sun Dec 16, 2012 7:35 am

I am filling the screw holes with epoxy fairing compound and fairing the stem.

Thete are some mall gaps between cedar strips.

Can these gaps be filled with compound?

Thanks

Something flexible like BoatLife Life Caulk. Do not use epoxy or 3M5200.

I have been using Sika flex.

I have no experience sanding and painting this type of material.

They all say on the tube it can be done.

Do they finish pretty well?

Thanks
