Windshield barckets

I have been looking hard for some windshield brackets for my little 12 footer but they are way too expensive or way to large for this boat.

I wanted a windshield to add some to the looks of the boat but also something just big enough to deflect the wind a little.
After not finding what I was looking for I decided to mill my own and the result are pictured below.

They are white oak. Enf brackets beveled to confirm to t deck slope. Still need some sanding. The dry fit looks pretty good.
Final windshield will be a bit higher with each side rounded into the middle bracket. Have not got the rubber seal just yet.

Steve,

Nice work. They will look good on your boat.
I bought the deck gasket material from and outfit in Minnesota that handles Chris Craft part. I used 1/4" pexi-glass for my wind shields which worked well and no breakage problems.

Looking Good.

Good Luck,

Phill
