size of garboards

Post by tarpeyj »

due to complete bottom / garboard rot, I have no template to use for creating new garboards. Any help / tips with this? My thought is to lay a panel on the keel and to use a pencil and draw a line along the edge of the garboard and the first plank from underneath. Then I can add the needed amount for underlapping the first plank.
