Back on the Water

Post by youngtoddvt »

After 19 years of barn storage and a mini rehab project, I got my Dad's 1965 Sea Mate back in the water. Special thanks to the Thompson boat community for the help finding those special parts..

1. Replaced flooring after 19 years of being a home for squirrels.
2. Replaced side windows with new molding with help from Andreas.
3. Replaced speedometer tube and device on the back from ebay..
4. Found new nav light with flagstaff on ebay.
5. New Thompson flag from Mary Hermanson.
6. Lots of cleaning..

Her life will continue with the next two generations on Echo Lake in East Charleston VT. I must say I have the nicest boat on the lake. :)
