2/3 Keelson fitted

Got to spend about 8 hours today getting new keelson started. Pictures show middle section of keelson notched to run from transom to stem. Approx. 12 inches of keelson at stem will require shaping. Old keelson was shaped at stem plus tapered on top at interior of boat.

Starboard sister keelson fitted:

Used original sister keelson to take-off angles. Used power planer to shape angles. Plan to use threaded rod to secure keelson together.

Any suggestions on moving forward?

You might consider SS carraige bolts... I am not sure whether treaded rod will deteriorate....
