17 ft., 1955-56 Thompson Off Shore with 1959, 50 hp Johnson Super Sea-Horse Super Quiet Motor.

Very sound boat. Exterior needs repainting and revarnishing to bring back to original finish, and to enhance its value. Health prevents me from doing this. Trailer is close to that time frame also. Always garaged. Numerous additional photo's available.

The 1958 Mastercraft boat trailer has new tires and bearings. The boat has always been stored in garage. Wood needs minor work. Bimini top has a few tears but it is repairable.

For Sale:

1958 Thompson Sea Skiff (Hull number C82127)

The Sea Skiff was Thompson’s smallest lapstrake at 13’4”.

I bought her in 1978 after she been professionally restored by a gentleman named Sunny Myatt who was known for his impeccable restorations.

The boat is original and comes with the original 35 horse Johnson Javelin. She has only seen fresh water and has been garage kept. I have not done any restoration work on it since I have owned it but I have maintained it.

Though we have had the boat since 1978, it has gotten very little use in the last 20 years. I have taken it out at least once a year to clean it, and start it. She sits on a 1955 Sportsman trailer. We are in the upper Peninsula of Michigan

1963 Thompson Sea Coaster Deluxe

Excellent condition, with a 1963, 55 H.P. Homelite.

The 16’7” Sea Coaster was ordered by the dealer just north of Milwaukee in 1963 with the optional vinyl decking. At the time Thompson thought that by covering the decks with vinyl it would lure people away from buying fiberglass. Didn’t quite work out that way.

The boat was sold for the first time in 1968 to the gentleman I bought it from. I have had the boat for eight years. It has only been in fresh water. The bottom keel has been refastened, the hull has been Smith epoxied, and the vinyl on the deck is new matching the original color.

The trailer is the original Snowco (1968) with new lights, etc. The Homelite was the first successful four stroke to enter the market in 1961. The engine has been reconditioned with very few hours on it. I am including a host of extras to numerous to list. She is located in Southern California. $6,900.00

  17’5” Grady White Hatteras
For Sale:

1960, 17’5” Grady White Hatteras

My dad bought this boat in the spring of 1961. We all learned how to water-ski behind it and it gave us many years of pleasure on Lower Straits Lake here in Michigan. It has not been run in sixteen years. We are looking to sell it to a good home, to someone who will put the necessary work into restoring her. She is essentially a solid boat with all the original parts and pieces.

Yes, it needs work. Besides the usual sanding, painting, and varnish, there is a two by four foot section on the port side that probably needs to be replaced. The transom needs attention as well. The chrome pieces are all there and probably need to be re-chromed.

The 85 horse Mercury should be gone through as well as the trailer. This was one of the first boats Grady White built, introducing the company to the world in 1960. We believe this boat will go up in value.

Serious inquiries only. $1,200.00 or best offer.

1964, 23’ Cruisers Inc. Navigator model 2320.

My dad bought it in 1970 from the Ballentine family (brewers) who bought it new. It has been meticulously maintained since having spent her entire life on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. The seats have been reupholstered and the boat has a new bottom that was professionally replaced.

She is powered by the original 150 horse, six cylinder Mercruiser I/O that will comfortably push her at 22 miles an hour. She is a safe, an incredibly reliable and dry boat with the high freeboard Cruisers was known for. There is no bad wood and she does not leak. Too many options to list but the boat comes complete and turn key.

The boat has been stored in the same marina since new so there has never been a need to buy a trailer.

1959 Thompson Sea Skiff. It does not get any better than this.

I bought the boat two years ago from the son of the original owner who passed away. He bought the boat new in Michigan in 1959. My intent was to move to Idaho and use it on one of the lakes there, but as John Lennon said “Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans.” and I need to sell it.

The boat might have seen use in 1959 and 1960 though there is no indication it was actually in the water. The family moved in 1961 and the boat has been in storage since. It is a totally original 13’ Thompson Sea Skiff that has never been painted or revarnished. The gauges are original and nothing has been altered or taken off the boat since it was delivered to the owner in 1959.

The Sea Skiff is the smallest of the Thompson lapstrakes. I believe that of the two models produced, this is the more deluxe version. The engine is a 1959 Johnson 35 horse super sea horse electric start. When I take the cowling off people can’t believe how clean it is. The trailer is also the original. It is a tilt type. She comes with the original bimini top and side windows. The boat is in Southern California. Serious inquiries only. Gary, 949-296-5932 (CA) (175)
