I did start cleaning the hull with Murphy's oil and warm water and made a lot of progress. While I was jammed under the bow wondering how to get out. (and I know some of you guys know what I'm talking about), I decided to give the deck a good scrub with a bristle brush. It work pretty good. I am sta...

Can this be slide out removing only the screws that are in the stow away sections? I don't want to take the seats apart because they intergal with the deck....

It is currently painted a tan color and I don't know if this was original color or not. I don't know if it is oil based or not, Sherwin Williams couldn't tell me. I see this porch en...

tiny bubbles in varnish
Gentlemen, I have placed about 6 coats of varnish (interlux schooner) and all looks good except those tiny bubbles. I have been using Jen foam brushes and a foam roller and tipping out. No luck. I tried thinning down with brushing liquid. still no luck. What do you think I'm doing wrong? Dan

cleaning canvas cover
I have a purchased a '61 Sea Coaster with a canvas top. It is an original Thompson canvas for over the Cockpit or at least there is a silk tag sewn to canvas that say Thompson. Anyway the canvas appears in good condition except for a small hole the size of a quarter and some stains. I believe this w...
